Atrilogy's direct client is seeking a VP, Front End (Web & Mobile) Architecture to join their team in Las Vegas, NV (or fully remote if from Texas only) on a Direct Hire basis. Essential Job Functions :

  • Conversant in wide-ranging application development technologies, from legacy to bleeding edge, that are likely to be in use or ought to be in use at our enterprise-scale clients. Needs to have significant architecture experience in complex environments
  • Experience with leading digital technologies including: AEM, Java, Spring, EJP, Angular, Core, Websphere, node.js and cache and middleware technologies
  • Experience delivering digital products for web and mobile channels
  • Experience developing 12 factor and cloud native apps for public, hybrid and private clouds
  • Knowledge of architectural, design, and coding best practices, including the ability to devise, defend, and communicate them to developer teams
  • Proficient in troubleshooting and solving technical challenges common to large IT organizations trying to meet ever-rising expectations of the business while coping with complex legacy systems and other integration constraints
  • Understanding of various software delivery methodologies (waterfall, iterative, Agile), when and how to implement them successfully, and their respective pros and cons
  • Ability to clearly and confidently explain the business relevance and value of the above topics to executive and non-technical audiences
  • Collaborating with architecture, security, and UXD to build architecturally-compliant apps
  • Working with platform squads to define web engineering standards, best practices, and tooling
  • Staying ahead of the curve by aligning architecture, user experience, and security with chapters and COEs
  • Upskilling and augmenting squads with deep mobile expertise
Position Requirements :
  • 10+ years of software development experience
  • 5+ years of professional experience developing publicly available Web applications using JavaScript or JavaScript MV frameworks like Angular or React, supported by RESTful web services
  • 2+ years of professional experience developing middle tier web services using JavaScript/Java/Spring
  • Experience in building native mobile application in iOS with Swift and Objective-C.
  • Experience in building web and mobile user applications with JavaScript/TypeScript using React and React Native.
  • Verifiable experience as a technical leader using JavaScript/TypeScript, NodeJS/Express, CSS/HTML in a large, enterprise environment, preferably as part of a team of Web engineers
  • Participated in the release of at least 3 publicly available Web application, participating from inception to launch using automated tooling like Jenkins, Gradle etc.
  • Expertise in large scale enterprise software development best practices and software architecture design.
  • Strong communication skills and collaboration skills
  • Proven experience in coaching and providing guidance to junior software engineers throughout all phases in software development cycle
  • Proficiency in JavaScript and Java, from a bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent industry working experience
  • Proven understanding of HTTP based APIs, Networking and how the internet works.
  • Strong JavaScript, Typescript, CSS, HTML & Browser Developer tools.
  • Understand Async code (Promises, Callbacks, Event Loops)
  • JS Tooling (ESLint, Webpack , Grunt, Gulp)
  • JS MV frameworks (Angular, React)
  • Comfortable with Visual Design & Rapid Prototyping
  • Expert at one IDE of choice (VS Code, WebStorm)
  • Node.js frameworks NPM, Express
  • Automation Tools/Frameworks (Mocha, Jasmine, Selenium, Protractor)
  • Sophisticated Git skills
  • API Design & Development, MicroServices Architecture.
