Job Details

The WordPress Developer will be responsible for the following:

Work with our Art Director and development team to build website front-endsMeet with clients to discuss website design and functionalityDevelop websites locally then post to servers in DigitalOceanCollaborate with members of our creative teamManage front-end and back-end website developmentCreate WordPress plug-ins and themesConducting website performance testsMaintain well-documented, reusable, and transferrable codeTroubleshoot and resolve website problems for clients and co-workersStay abreast of new developments in software, trends, and practicesRequirements/Qualifications

An associate or bachelor's degree, preferably in computer programming, computer science, or a related field2+ years' experience with WordPress related technologiesProficiency using WordPressKnowledge of front-end technologies including PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQueryA good understanding of website architecturesExperience using debugging tools such as Firebug and Chrome InspectorStrong understanding of front-end and back-end website developmentAlways ready to tackle a new challenge or learn something newNot just a doer, a thinker always considers why something is being done, not just that it needs to be done
