Job Description: Field Technician/Pressure washer
The Field Technician/Pressure washer is responsible for maintaining and upgrading commercial property as instructed via work orders approved by Property Managers.
Pressure wash commercial properties (sidewalks & trash enclosure to remove dirt, grease and other foreign material buildup).
The Field Technician/PW will:
Possess the ability to operate a motor vehicle including use of a trailer for the purpose of visiting job sites and client buildings.
Be responsible for the completion of all maintenance service requests as assigned.
Process paperwork upon the completing of each job including time and expense tracking.
Complete payroll time sheets and submit to supervisor.
Responsible for alerting the Property Manager of any unusual occurrence and/or damage that may have taken place or that may occur.
Maintain a professional courteous manner with all tenants, vendors, clients, and fellow employees.
Assure safety standards are used which comply with all company, local, City, State and Federal guidelines.
Ensure compliance of all work-related activities in a fair, ethical, and consistent manner.
Always looks for opportunities to expand the range of services we provide on each site including landscaping, asphalt repair and general property maintenance.
Assist Operations Department with other tasks such as pressure washing, site visit, removal of illegally dumped items from properties.
Communicate safety issues to our staff and vendors; communicates liability issues to our clients.
Ensure that equipment and supplies are maintained in a safe, operable/usable condition and/or arrange for their replacement.
Must be able to work evenings, after hours and possibly weekends in emergency situations.
The Wrigs General Property Field Technician possesses:
A valid driver’s license.
Reliable transportation, preferably a truck to transport tools and ladders.
Considerable knowledge of maintenance and repair work.
Thorough knowledge of proper safety techniques and procedures.
Skill in the operation of hand tools and equipment common to the building trades.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
Ability to work with co-workers and clients.
Exceptional communication skills, both oral and written.
A polished, professional, put-together demeanor.
Confidence, ambition, self-motivation and the ability to work independently.
Problem-solving skills; keen listening skills.
- Basic set of personal tools and equipment.
