Attorney Partnership/Associate Position - Experience Level Open (Las Vegas)

Nevada, Las vegas 00000 Las vegas USA

Vacancy expired!

Attorney with 25+ years litigation experience seeks associate or partner to ultimately take over their practice. I have an unusual and financially successful contingency fee (not personal injury) practice with a progressive focus representing working people. This is an opportunity with the strongest appeal to a progressive minded attorney who wants out from the billable hour demands of a conventional established law firm or dealing with the similarly unpleasant dynamics present in many conventional contingency fee or flat fee based firms. You will have the added bonus of never having to represent wealthy and overprivileged clients.

You may have an existing solo practice and be looking to expand. Or you may be looking to get away from the grind of your existing practice area. Or you may be a new attorney with relatively little experience and a strong desire to feel good about your work and not just take the best paying job you can find.

This is not a position for someone seeking an assured, conventional, salaried position and a 40 hour work week though some assured income can be provided depending upon the arrangement we would make. You do not need to make any capital investment or have any book of business and I will train a suitable person. But unless you bring your own book of business to the practice you will have to be significantly engaged in developing business and working long hours and will largely be looking to receive compensation as business develops from your efforts. You MUST have the ambition to ultimately run or be a partner in your own law practice.

Only the scrupulously honest and professional should respond. Irrespective of whether you have significant, or only a little, litigation experience you must have excellent legal reasoning and writing skills. This is not a position for someone who is only capable of engaging in a rote, repetitive, practice. You must forward a resume and a writing sample, the latter need not be extensive in length. You may also forward anything else that you believe is meaningful, including a law school transcript.
