A world leader in designing and manufacturing embedded computing solutions. Due to growth, we are seeking candidates for the Electronics Test Technician position. This role is pivotal in performing product testing of board and system-level products, diagnosing and troubleshooting product failures using strong technical knowledge.

Responsibilities:

Perform functional tests of the company’s board and system-level products.

Test and troubleshoot board failures as required.

Assist engineering with prototype testing.

Provide detailed symptom descriptions for failures uncovered during functional tests to assist in component-level troubleshooting.

Adhere to Manufacturing Process instructions or other established procedures to produce a quality product during the manufacturing process.

Follow all applicable work instructions to perform testing and repair processes.

Take initiative to identify problems and their root causes, participating in implementing solutions.

Discuss technical and process problems encountered during testing/troubleshooting with supervisors and engineering staff, recommending solutions to improve work efficiency.

Escalate product and process issues to management and assist with problem resolution.

Follow all corporate, safety, and production procedures and regulations, maintain a clean and orderly workstation, and ensure adherence to company standards and regulations.

Requirements:

Minimum electronics certification from an accredited two-year technical or four-year Engineering school.

Minimum two (2) years of experience as an electronics technician in a manufacturing test environment.

Proficiency in troubleshooting and identifying electronic and mechanical failure modes.

Experience using test instruments like Multimeter, Oscilloscope, Power Supplies, etc.

Basic Networking knowledge is required.

Reading and understanding schematics, datasheets, and written work instructions.

Ability to handle job stress and interact effectively with others in the workplace.

Fluent domain of the English language: Ability to read, write, and speak English proficiently.

Ability to carry out detailed written and oral instructions.
