Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Stocker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our products are properly stocked, organized, and displayed to enhance the shopping experience for our customers. This role requires effective communication skills and the ability to maintain a clean and orderly environment while performing various tasks related to inventory management.
Responsibilities
Stock shelves with merchandise in an organized manner, ensuring products are easily accessible to customers.
Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding inventory levels and product availability.
Assist with shipping and receiving activities, including unloading deliveries and checking for discrepancies.
Maintain cleanliness of the stockroom and sales floor, ensuring all areas are tidy and safe for customers and employees.
Provide excellent customer service by assisting shoppers in locating products and answering questions about merchandise.
Operate cash registers as needed, processing transactions accurately and efficiently.
Perform heavy lifting as required when stocking shelves or moving inventory.
Collaborate with sales staff to ensure promotional items are prominently displayed.
Requirements
Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
Previous experience in stocking or inventory management is preferred but not mandatory.
Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes is a plus.
Ability to maintain a clean work environment while adhering to safety standards.
Customer service orientation with a friendly demeanor.
Basic knowledge of cash register operations is beneficial.
Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and stand for extended periods of time.

Pay: $12.00 - $16.00 per hour, DOE
