Atrilogys Direct Client is looking for a Sr Systems Administrator to join their team on a 100% Remote Direct Hire basis. This role will be working in a primarily Windows environment. Position Title: Sr. Systems Administrator Location: Las Vegas or REMOTE (Nevada, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, Ohio, Pennsylvania) due to gaming licenses candidate will need to get upon being hired. Some limited travel may be required to Las Vegas or other client properties Term: Direct Hire JOB DESCRIPTION: Responsible for supporting the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of information systems. Monitor, maintain, and support all infrastructure devices, associated software and systems. Assist in identifying, communicating, and resolving technical issues. Serves as a Senior technical resource for infrastructure support. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/DUTIES:

  • Helps, motivates and guides junior team members
  • Oversees some of the deployment and configuration of infrastructure solutions
  • Advanced in troubleshooting windows, Linux and storage related problem and incidents
  • Perform project management activities for IT KTLO initiatives as required
  • Responsible for deployment and configuration of Systems for windows and Linux.
  • Skilled in troubleshooting windows, Linux and storage related problem and incidents
  • Participates in the backend development of IT Architecture
  • Provides support by performing troubleshooting which may include, but not limited to problem recognition, root cause analysis, problem resolution, follow-up, and documentation
  • Perform maintenance on IT hardware and software including the restoration of hardware, software or configurations
  • Manage business-critical IT tasks and systems
  • Leads in the development, deployment and support of automating the build of IT Solutions
  • Provides assistances in leveraging technologies, processes, and disciplines for delivering best in class methods throughout IT Systems Infrastructure
  • A key operations resources in the implementation and configuration of BCP and DR procedures
  • Ensures service targets and commitments are met as regards to delivery of IT solutions
  • Perform project management activities for IT initiatives as required
  • SME for IT Operational Support
  • Provide input into the technology roadmap strategy
  • Maintains a high level of service delivery, ensuring quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.
  • Establish and maintain documentation through best practice processes and procedures
  • On-call support is required
  • Other duties as required
JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's degree in field of computer science or information systems preferred
  • Six (6) years or more in an IT environment preferred
  • MCSE certification and at least four (4) years of experience
  • VMWare certification preferred
  • ITIL V3 Awareness training preferred
  • Knowledge of writing scripts is preferred
  • Very strong technical knowledge of IT enterprise systems and tools
  • Strong technical knowledge of Information technology hardware, protocols, and standards
  • Experience in development, deployment and implementation of enterprise information Technology solutions
  • Must have a good understanding of domain-level services such as DNS, DHCP, LDAP, Active Directory services
  • Good working knowledge of writing scripts (PowerShell, VBScript, etc.)
  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to effectively synthesize and communicate about complex situations and concepts to management level employees
  • Proven organizational and project management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities independently and meet deadlines under pressure
  • Strong conceptual thinker with the ability to analyze and grasp a situation quickly
  • Ability to operate well at a tactical and strategic level
  • Excellent judgement and a proven ability to make decisions and exercise independent judgment
  • Assist in the coaching and mentoring of junior team members
