Technical Infrastructure Project Manager

Link Technologies (LinkTechConsulting.com), a Las Vegas, NV based staffing and IT consulting firm, is currently seeking a Technical Infrastructure Project Manager for a well-established client in Las Vegas, NV. This will be an onsite, contract opportunity.

• 3+ years of information technology project management experience.
• Ability to effectively regain control of a project after issues arise.
• Understanding of IT applications, software, and processes.
• Knowledge of modern infrastructure, networking, databases, and operating systems.
• Experience with database management systems, networking technologies, as well as cloud and on-premises platforms.
• Previous experience managing multiple projects and leading a team throughout the entire life of a project.
• In-depth knowledge in writing Business Cases and/or Project Charters.
• Knowledge of MS Project, Visio, Teams, SharePoint, and MS PowerPoint.

• Full lifecycle management and control of infrastructure projects.
• Creating project charters and presenting to management and stakeholders.
• Draft and submit project budgets and proposals.
• Develop, define, and track full-scale project plans including scope, goals, and deliverables.
• Manage complete project lifecycle using MS Project.
• Work collectively with cross-functional developers, architects, and analysts to guarantee flawless project execution.
• Mentor and supervise project team members and contractors to ensure the quality of work being completed and to keep all parties accountable.
• Evaluate and analyze each step of the project through progress reports to ensure project success.
• Proactive management to handle changes in scope, troubleshooting as necessary, and to guarantee that the project remains on track.

• Associates degree in Information Technology and/or equivalent experience is preferred.
• Cross-functional project management experience is a plus.
• Knowledge and experience with MS Project preferred.
