Full Time Field Mechanic for Tractor and Trailer Repair Company
Job Duties and requirements:
-Trailer repair ( Brakes, Wheel Seals, Lighting, Suspension )
Preventative Maintenance at Customer Facilities/ Off Site Locations
-Oil Changes
-Air & hydraulic brakes trouble shooting and repairs
-Suspensions & steering trouble shooting and repairs
-Drive train, rear end, transmissions (auto & manual) trouble shooting and repair
-Clutch changing
-General Maintenance
-Conduct fuel and electrical diagnostics w/ limited supervision
-A/C trouble shooting and repair
-Accurately complete written record of work performance
-Maintain a clean work and shop area as directed by Safety SOP's
-Communicate w/ drivers & customers regarding DVIR's (Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports)
Requirements
Valid Drivers License- No DUIs on record
ASE certified a Plus
3+ Years Experience Preferred
Pass drug screen
Self- motivated
Provide own tools ( will receive $1000 yearly for tool allowance/ reimbursement )
Ability to be on call after hours

Company tablet for work orders and inventory
Pay:
$28.00- $33.00 Per Hour (DOE) + Overtime
