SENIOR ANALYST - COMBAT AIR FORCE:

Bowhead seeks a Senior Analyst - Combat Air Force for the Joint Center for Electromagnetic Readiness (JCER) to join our team.

Responsibilities

• Apply expertise specializing in fighter/attack combat aircraft; however, experience in a combat air force platforms is acceptable• Develop detailed mission analysis and integration of resources to determine capabilities to meet the JCER mission• Make recommendations to service or joint tactics, weapon schools, or publications based on findings of JCER evaluations and understanding of current service capabilities to include communication/tactical data links and tactics with knowledge of vulnerabilities in the presence of threat EMSO• Analyze threat data and controlling receipt and dissemination of foreign intelligence information• Evaluate emerging EMSO threats in order to present findings, conclusions, and recommendations based on evaluation results• Conduct tactical, operational, and strategic level research concerning impact of existing and emerging EMSO threats to joint operations• Conduct studies, perform research, report, and make recommendations concerning instrumentation and evaluation resources necessary to execute risk reduction and evaluation events ensuring the coordination of communications, logistics, materiel, data collection and personnel training, issue and alternative definitions, and personnel requirements for each designated activity • Work with partnering agencies that share interests in support of data collection, reduction, or JEMSO operations

Qualifications

In accordance with Executive Order 14042: Ensuring Adequate COVID Safety Protocols for Federal Contractors, candidates should be aware that they may be required to have received or be willing to receive the COVID-19 vaccine

• Shall possess over twelve (12) years of demonstrated relevant experience or possess a Bachelor's degree or higher with desired experience of more than fifteen (15) years in combat Air Force and experience in the essential duties and responsibilities outlined above.• Preferably expertise specializing in fighter/attack combat aircraft; however, experience in a combat air force platforms is acceptable;• Operational level experience with preference to candidates with higher level broadening assignments such as Joint, CCMD or Service level staff;• Developing detailed mission analysis and integration of resources to determine capabilities to meet the JCER mission;• Understanding of current service capabilities and tactics with knowledge of vulnerabilities in the presence of threat EMSO in order to make recommendations to Service or joint tactics, weapon schools, or publications based on findings of JCER evaluations;• Experience analyzing threat data and controlling receipt and dissemination of foreign intelligence information;• Ability to evaluate emerging EMSO threats in order to present findings, conclusions, and recommendations based on evaluation results;• Conducting tactical, operational, and strategic level research concerning the impact of existing and emerging EMSO threats to joint operations;• Preferably experience conducting studies, performing research, reporting, and making recommendations concerning instrumentation and evaluation resources necessary to execute risk reduction and evaluation events ensuring the coordination of communications, logistics, materiel, data collection and personnel training, issue and alternative definitions, and personnel requirements for each designated activity;• Preferably experience working with partnering agencies that share interests in support of data collection, reduction, or JEMSO operations in conjunction with JCER evaluations; and • Training and certification as a PMP is highly recommended for individuals lacking requisite military leadership experience.• Knowledge/experience as it pertains to the Joint Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations (JEMSO) mission. The specified venue in this task, and the focus for Joint Center for Electromagnetic Readiness (JCER) is to periodically evaluate service-level deployment certification events, or prerequisite training considered critical and mandatory prior to deployment to support a specific Geographic Combatant Command (GCC).• Demonstrated competency in writing and oral communication skills. • Travel: 30%• Must be a U.S. Citizen• An active DoD Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility is required to perform this work. Candidates are required to have an active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility upon hire, and the ability to maintain this level of clearance during their employment

Education Requirements: Bachelor's Degree

SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must currently hold a security clearance at the Top Secret/SCI level. US Citizenship is a requirement for Top Secret clearance at this location.

Physical Demands: • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds• Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time• Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically
