SENIOR ANALYST SPECIAL OPERATIONS FORCES (SOF):

Bowhead seeks a Senior Analyst - Special Operations Forces (SOF) for the Joint Center for Electromagnetic Readiness (JCER) to join our team.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed mission analysis and integration of resources to determine capabilities to meet the JCER mission• Analyze threat data and control receipt and dissemination of foreign intelligence information• Evaluate emerging EMSO threats in order to present findings, conclusions, and recommendations based on evaluation results• Conduct tactical, operational, and strategic level research concerning impact of existing and emerging EMSO threats to joint operations• Conduct studies, performing research, reporting, and making recommendations concerning instrumentation and evaluation resources necessary to execute risk reduction and evaluation events ensuring the coordination of communications, logistics, materiel, data collection and personnel training, issue and alternative definitions, and personnel requirements for each designated activity• Work with partnering agencies that share interests in support of data collection, reduction, or JEMSO operations

Qualifications

• Shall possess over twelve (12) years of demonstrated relevant experience in Special Operations with fifteen (15) years desired expertise and a Bachelor's degree with relevant experience in air, land, and sea special operations and combat systems, and duties and responsibilities outlined above. • Operational level experience with preference to candidates with higher level broadening assignments such as Joint, CCMD and Service level staff• Understanding of current SOF capabilities across all activities (direct action, special reconnaissance, countering weapons of mass destruction, counterterrorism, unconventional warfare, foreign internal defense, security force assistance, hostage rescue and recovery, counterinsurgency, foreign humanitarian assistance, military information support operations, and civil affairs operations) with knowledge of vulnerabilities in the presence of threat EMSO in order to make recommendations to service or joint tactics, weapon schools, or publications based on findings of JCER evaluations• Experience analyzing threat data and controlling receipt and dissemination of foreign intelligence information• Ability to evaluate emerging EMSO threats in order to present findings, conclusions, and recommendations based on evaluation results• Experience conducting studies, performing research, reporting, and making recommendations concerning instrumentation and evaluation resources necessary to execute risk reduction and evaluation events ensuring the coordination of communications, logistics, materiel, data collection and personnel training, issue and alternative definitions, and personnel requirements for each designated activity• Preferably experience working with partnering agencies that share interests in support of data collection, reduction, or JEMSO operations• Preferably operational employment experience of Electromagnetic Attack (EA), Electromagnetic Protection (EP), Electromagnetic Support (ES), and spectrum management• Training and certification as a PMP is highly recommended for individuals lacking requisite military leadership experience.• Knowledge/experience as it pertains to the Joint Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations (JEMSO) mission. The specified venue in this task, and the focus for Joint Center for Electromagnetic Readiness (JCER) is to periodically evaluate service-level deployment certification events, or prerequisite training considered critical and mandatory prior to deployment to support a specific Geographic Combatant Command (GCC).• Demonstrated competency in writing and oral communication skills. • Travel: 30%• Must be a U.S. Citizen• An active DoD Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility is required to perform this work. Candidates are required to have an active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility upon hire, and the ability to maintain this level of clearance during their employment

Education Requirements: Bachelor's Degree

SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must currently hold a security clearance at the Top Secret/SCI level. US Citizenship is a requirement for Top Secret clearance at this location.
