Sugar Bowl Ski Resort is looking for a qualified Payroll Administrator & Revenue Auditor to assist in processing Bi-Weekly payroll for up to 700 employees. This position will assist in the entire payroll process, reconciliation of payroll accounts, payroll reporting, payroll training and assist accounting staff in other duties when available
QUALIFICATIONS:
-Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills
-Previous payroll experience REQUIRED. Prefer 5+ years
-2+ years experience in basic Accounting
-Knowledge of Kronos Workforce Ready payroll system preferred
-Experience with employee benefits and incentives
-Strong work ethic including the ability to handle sensitive information
-Comprehension of Microsoft products including Excel, Word and PowerPoint
DUTIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO, THE FOLLOWING:
-Assist in the complete cycle of processing payroll
-Related payroll matters including but not limited to
-Accurate and timely issuance of paychecks
-Understanding to issue manual checks when needed
-Ability to comprehend and generate Payroll Reports
-Audit status form information input into Kronos data base for accuracy
-Reconciling and processing of employee tips and gratuities
-Tracking and following up on all deductions including but not limited to 401(k), garnishments and group insurance
-Regular review of payroll policies and procedures to insure optimal organization, efficiency and legal accuracy.
-Assist in training Managers and Supervisors on the Kronos System and CA pay rules
-Audit payroll process for compliance with CA pay rule
-Assistance to Accounting team including but not limited to
-Daily revenue audits
-General Ledger reconciliations
-Accounts Receivable/Accounting Payable
-Willingness to assist winter operations when staffing levels require
-Projects as assigned by the Accounting Manager and CFO
This is a seasonal position. Must be flexible and able to work weekends and holidays during the winter season.
