Blue Ribbon Personnel ServicesLake Tahoe's Premier Staffing Agencyis recruiting a "Water Educator" for the South Tahoe Public Utility District in South Lake Tahoe, CA. for the summer 2019.
Approximate dates for this position are JUNE thru- AUGUST 31, 2019.
Hours are approximately 20 hours/week.
Must be able to work weekends, nights and early mornings.
Pay rate = $16.69- $18.40 / hour¦DOE
This position will enforce the District's Water Conservation Ordinance. The successful candidate will be expected to locate violators, issue warnings and educate the public regarding water restrictions & the need for water conservation in the South Tahoe Public Utility District's service area.
Requirements include:
Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Must have the ability to communicate and educate on the watering restrictions in Lake Tahoe.
Issue written warnings and violations as necessary.
Database management skills.
Administrative duties as assigned.
Assist with surveying and mapping properties for the Turf Buy Back Program.
Must have your own vehicle with a valid driver's license.
Good physical condition to walk around neighborhoods.
EXPERIENCE IN WATER CONSERVATION AND/OR THE ENVIRONMENTAL INDUSTRY IS HIGHLY DESIRABLE.
A CLEAN DMV DRIVING RECORD IS REQUIRED. A PRINTOUT FROM THE DEPARTMENT OF MOTOR VEHICLES IS NEEDED PRIOR TO SECURING AN INTERVIEW.
