Hi! - A two-family pod is seeking a certified teacher with 1st grade experience to teach two lovely 6 year old girls and to facilitate OHL for 1 3rd grade boy. We have dedicated space next to Truckee River Park. Hours are 8:30-3:30PM Mon-Thurs and 9AM-1PM Fridays (with preference for field trips those days). The kids prefer an academic focus in AM and outdoor / experiential / art / project focus in PM.
Note: the 1st graders are not enrolled in OHL programs so we are truly looking for an Educator eager to deliver his/her own unique curriculum. Both girls have excellent reading, writing and math foundations and access to assessment-driven platforms (Lexia, Dreambox, Raz-Kids). We are looking for a commitment through Dec 18th, with option for a Spring semester to be determined prior to Thanksgiving. Normal TTUSD holidays observed.
Both families are prioritizing "staying healthy and having fun" this fall, with strong Covid protocols observed.
