Position at Clear Capital You're an Oracle database administrator and application developer and are interested in taking your career to the next level while working alongside our Sr. Oracle DBA and IT Operations Teams. You'll be working in a team supporting a multi-database environment. You'll be responsible for production and development operations and playing a key role in supporting our teams and the mission critical enterprise applications for the organization. As a growing financial technology company offering real estate valuation products, software platforms and rich data and analytics, you will be part of a small yet strong DBA team supporting Operations and Application Development working with some of the brightest minds in the industry. What You Will Work On- Oracle DBA working in a Real Application Clusters (RAC) production environments
- Provide 24/7 operational support
- Manage standby cluster and backup/restore processes
- Working with the Senior Oracle DBA, understand and apply advanced database administration, management and performance tuning techniques
- Configure and tune hardware and software to insure optimum performance and resource utilization
- Develop scripts procedures and processes for data migration and application development
- Participate in meetings and conference calls related to project and troubleshooting activities
- Provide support for database related project activities
- Administer and troubleshoot critical enterprise applications and their interaction with the database(s)
- Minimum of three (3) years experience with administering and maintaining Oracle based applications to achieve reliability and availability SLAs
- Minimum of three (3) years experience with Oracle in an Enterprise
- Experience with Oracle tools and utilities (e.g. Real Applications Testing, DataGuard and Oracle Enterprise Manager)
- Tuning of SQL statements and PL/SQL code
- Release management working with BitBucket (Git)
- Experience working in a highly available, always on, 24x7 environment
- Data extraction, transformation and loading
- Experience with SQL Server and/or PostgreSQL 8.4 or newer
- Strong applied knowledge working in Linux.
