The Hospitalist Manager maintains operations within budgetary parameters. Effectively interacts with hospitalists, nursing staff, patient, significant others, hospitalist coordinator, and other health team members, while maintaining standards of professional business service. The Hospitalist Office Manager is accountable to the Director of Operations for the day-today management of the hospitalist program, including staffing, time-keeping, daily patient list, revenue cycle, physician chart management, and interview and selection of staff within established medical group guidelines. The Hospitalist Office Manager spends 80% + of his/her time on the aforementioned management activities.QualificationsEDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING
Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare, Business or related field or a minimum of five years Healthcare leadership/management experience is preferred.2. Management experience preferred.3. Proficient with Microsoft Office Excel, Word and Outlook.4. Knowledge of machines and equipment used in the Business Office area.5. Sexual Harassment training within 90 days of hire and annually thereafter.
