Position at Clear Capital Technical Product Owner, Real Estate Analytics ProductsDescriptionClear Capital is seeking a Technical Product Owner, Real Estate Analytics Products to help develop growth and accuracy of its Real Estate Analytics product line. The successful candidate is a self-starter with proven ability to communicate end-user needs into technical requirements, with an understanding of how data is used to transform the valuation and fintech industry.What You Will Work OnThe Technical Product Owner is responsible for the growth and market success of his/her assigned products. You'll help us create our next generation of solutions that are powered by Clear Capital's ClearAVM and ClearProp, or automated property valuation models and software. You will partner closely with our Software Engineering and Data Science teams, as well as collaborate across the company with stakeholders in Data Engineering, Sales, Customer Support, Product Marketing, Valuation, Legal and Finance. You will report to the Senior Product Manager, Analytics, while gathering the needs from both internal and external market participants to shape clean data and software solutions to modernize the valuation space.- Participate in the growth and launch of data and analytics products and features for internal consumption as well as external markets in order to drive revenue and margin objectives
- Managing stakeholder engagement to help shape the product features/roadmap
- Develop a deep understanding of customers and the industry to translate the market needs into tangible user stories and a backlog that drives the product roadmap
- Write functional requirement documents and help resolve "blocks" encountered by our product development team
- Coordinate with third party data partners to ensure consistency and support of our data sources
- 2+ years product management experience with data or analytics-driven enterprise products
- Strong understanding of the product life cycle from end to end preferably in data analytics products
- Comfortable in front of customers (internal and external) and curious about their pain points
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate with technical and non-technical audiences
- Strong collaboration skills and leadership presence
- Experience working in agile product teams with competing priorities with aggressive timelines, participating in daily scrums
- Data analysis skills, SQL and/or Business Intelligence tool capabilities preferred but not required.
- Detail oriented. Ability to break down product requirements into user stories.
- Experience serving as a Product Owner in an Agile SCRUM development environment. Agile Product Owner certification, a bonus.
