The Truckee Hotel is looking to add to its small team. We are truly a unique, Historic Hotel & Restaurant in the heart of downtown Truckee, CA. This position does require evening shifts, job flexibility, some housekeeping, property cleaning, minor maintenance tasks, breakfast oversight and more.
A passion for organization, cleanliness, desire to learn, quick thinking and the ability to creatively solve problems are essential qualities the right candidate must have. Above all, you must be able to offer guests an exceptional level of service.

Essential Job Functions:
Guest services
Manage reservations
Respond to inquiries on site, by e-mail and via telephone
Guest correspondence
Check in/check out service
Provide concierge services for the Tahoe area
Outreach, sales and marketing
Social media
Proficiency in Excel, Word and Hotel Software Programs
Manage and assist housekeeping staff when needed
Perform basic building maintenance and repairs
Watering of plants and some snow removal in winter season
Scheduling specialty maintenance and repairs
Location: Truckee/Tahoe are-commuting can be difficult due to weather
