EXPERIENCED LINE COOK FOR IMMEDIATE HIRE (Cottonwood Restaurant-Truckee)
Cottonwood Restaurant an established casual fine dining restaurant on the hilltop over looking historic downtown Truckee is hiring an experienced dinner line cook to join our team. We are a favorite year round dinner spot and bar for locals and visitors alike.
This is a year round dinner position for immediate hire. This is a great opportunity in a fast paced, fun kitchen. We focus on a seasonal menu with nightly specials.
We offer:
-$17-$19 per hour based on experience plus tips
-discounts on employee food and beverage when you dine with us
-flexible hours
-Family meal (one per shift)
-SIMPLE IRA
Requirements:
-minimum 1 year experience in similar position (grill, saute, dish preparation)
-understand cooking methods, ingredients and equipment preferred
-available on a flexible schedule that includes nights, weekends, holidays
-valid CA Food Handlers certification
-ability to lift 50 lbs
-Spanish and English language skills are a plus
