Full time maintenance personnel wanted, maintenance is responsible for maintaining the landscape, remodeling apartments as tenants move in and out, replacing appliances as necessary, snow removal when necessary. Areas of operation include apartment complex in Carson City, a series of rental duplexes and homes in Dayton, and 1 model home in Dayton.
Major Job Functions include but are not limited to:
Working with management to schedule maintenance services as required.
Walking through vacant units to determine what maintenance will be required.
Mowing lawns, and landscaping.
Remodeling apartments to include, repainting, removing old flooring/carpet, removing old appliances and replacing with new.
Purchasing equipment and supplies needed to perform various maintenance tasks.
Making trash and dump runs using a van and trailer.
Additional aspects:
Assist with hazardous weather issues such as snow, water leaks and floods.
Driving the company utility van with trailer attached.
Job Requirements, required skills and prerequisites:
Maintenance history preferred.
Knowledge of installing and uninstalling various appliances like dishwashers, water heaters, toilets, sinks, and microwaves.
Clean driving record for use of company vehicle.
Knowledge of irrigation systems and replacing various parts as necessary.
Knowledge and ability to troubleshoot various issues with HVAC, and Heating systems, and remedying any minor faults until additional repairs can be coordinated.
Knowledge of using various plumbing tools such as drain snakes.
Occasionally you might be called in to address and contain major issues such as water leaks, or heavy snow removal.

Maintenance jobs are not limited to the following:
Will be exposed to varying weather conditions throughout the day.
Will be exposed to various activity that requires standing, bending, lifting (Light and heavy items), crouching, pushing and pulling, operation of various power tools to include lawn mowers, gas powered leaf blowers and weed eaters. Climbing ladders, operation of van and trailer.
