Gallery Keoki is searching for a sales person to sell photographic art to high-end client at multi-award winning gallery in North Tahoe. The ideal candidate is focused on understanding people, engaging their emotional connection to art and delivering the best solution to meet client needs and lifestyle.
We are looking for an enthusiastic person with knowledge of high-end luxury merchandise and sales, plus a proven track record in selling. Being a Tahoe based business with outdoor focused art imagery, we are also looking for someone who has a passion of the mountains, travel and the wonder of nature. The individual must present well, have a professional demeanor with superior communication and writing skills.
Compensation is an hourly base, plus forgivable draw, plus commission upside. Base pay will be commensurate with past sales experience. Initially, we are looking for someone to work part-time 3-4 days/week including weekends, and some Holidays, however this position can lead to a full time opportunity based upon performance.
Responsibilities include:
Ability to manage a luxury retail store (this position includes retail merchandising)
A track record for meeting or beating sales quota
Familiarity with Greater Lake Tahoe demographics, real estate and resorts
Professional communication and writing skills
Must be accurate, detailed, and precise
Ability to optimize use of time and be cost effective
Retail store opening and closing duties
Assist with Gallery maintenance, retail presentation and art installations
Lifting up to 30 pounds on occasion
