Overview:
Standard Diesel is a highly regarded, locally owned and operated repair shop for light duty diesel trucks and cars. We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated technician to join our team. As a technician you will be responsible for performing a wide range of repairs on light trucks and vehicles. This is a hands-on role that requires strong mechanical skills and attention to detail. Applicants must have their own tools.
Duties:
Inspect vehicles for any potential issues or maintenance needs
Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues
Repair or replace faulty parts such as brakes, transmissions, and engines
Maintain accurate records of all services performed
Follow all safety protocols and guidelines
Skills:
Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of vehicle systems
3+ years as a mechanic or service technician
Proficiency in using hand tools and equipment
Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to effectively communicate with colleagues and coworkers
Job Type: Full-time, 40 per week, Mon-Fri
