We are a do all job shop in a tourist area. We are looking for fabrication skills in new construction and remodels. Experience with layout and building stairs, railing, gates, structural steel, posts, beams, aluminum, stainless, sheet metal and ability to complete miscellaneous projects and repairs in shop.
Experienced in mechanical knowledge and blueprints are a plus! AWS Certified welder certification preferred. Our crew have great attitudes and enjoy many perks, including personal projects and use of shop and equipment on their off time. Alpine Metals offers a highly competitive salary, determined on experience.
Skills/Qualifications
The successful candidate will be a hard worker, have a can-do attitude, personable, punctual, and safety minded. Must have a thorough understanding of machines and tools used in welding, including maintenance and repair. Will have a basic understanding of mathematics as related to welding and fabrication assignments. The successful candidate will also have a general mechanical knowledge in heavy equipment, trucks, forklifts, tractors, and trailers.
