The information below is for part-time van driving positions with Highland Express Shuttle Service.
Location: Fallon / Fernley
Position: Van Driver
Veterans Prep: Yes
Vehicle: 15 passenger Ford E 350 Van
Work Week: 3 to 4 days per week
Route: From Fallon to Sacramento- Military Entrance Processing Station (MEPS) and return
Benefits: 401K, Workers Compensation, Dental, Vision care, Vacation, & end-of-year Bonuses
Training: Will receive two days paid hourly training with a third day optional
Salary: $135 a day Sunday thru Friday
Raises: Eligible for a raise after 90 days and annual thereafter
Pay Period: From the 1st to the 15th is direct deposited at the end of the month; 16th to the 30th/31st is direct deposited the 15 of the next month.
Requirements: High School Diploma/GED, clean MVR (Motor Vehicle Report), Police Record Check. Pre-employment drug screening, must pass DOT physical (company paid),
CDL Class A or B with Passenger Endorsement is REQUIRED
Description: Van Driver will safety check vehicle, transport Military Applicants from Military Career Centers located on this route to MEPS and maintain a driving log. Company provides vehicle along with maintenance, fuel.
