Join SGS’s Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) team as our Client Service Officer, this is a Full-Time role based in Alexandria NSW, working hours 11am–7pm. Play a key role in delivering exceptional client service across our soil, water and air testing operations. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships, solving problems, and supporting essential sample receipt and dispatch processes.About the RoleAs our Client Service Officer in Alexandria, you’ll be the first point of contact for EHS clients. You’ll manage incoming and outgoing samples, support laboratory workflows, and provide timely, professional communication to ensure an excellent client experience.Responsibilities include, however are not limited to:Deliver high-quality support to clients, couriers, and internal teams, ensuring smooth receipt and dispatch of samples.Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients; keep clear records of meetings and discussions.Prepare or organise quotations and assist clients with enquiries about samples, turnaround times, and service status.Monitor KPIs for Alexandria clients and work closely with team leaders to resolve issues before they impact service delivery.Receive, sort, label, store, and repack samples, completing all required checks and registrations accurately.Collect samples from client sites and conduct on-site sampling following approved procedures.Use PPE correctly and report any unsafe conditions immediately.
