Description
We are seeking a talented Software Technical Writer to join a dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have excellent writing and communication skills and a solid understanding of software development processes.Responsibilities:Collaborate with software development teams to gather information and create technical documentation, including user manuals, technical guides, and API documentation.Develop and maintain software release notes and update internal knowledge base articles.Work with product managers and other stakeholders to ensure that technical documentation accurately reflects product features and functionality.Continuously improve the quality of documentation by gathering feedback from users and stakeholders, and implementing best practices.Participate in code and product reviews, and provide feedback on the usability of software features.Work with the engineering team to ensure that documentation is technically accurate, and up-to-date with software releases.Qualifications:Minimum of 2 years of technical writing experience in software development or related field.Strong written and verbal communication skills, and ability to explain complex technical concepts to a non-technical audience.Experience working with engineering teams to gather information and develop technical documentation.Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies.Proficiency in documenting RESTful APIs and web-based software applications.Experience with markdown, Git, and version control systems.Familiarity with industry-standard documentation tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and Adobe Creative Suite.This is a full-time position with a competitive salary and benefits package.
