Job Description

As anAgile Coach, you will play a critical role in enabling business change as the guardian of agile mindset and processes for team members. Essentially you are responsible for instilling an agile mindset and methodology through coaching, improving squad processes and persistent continuous improvement.

Our Agile Coaches ultimately add value with their broader perspective and deep understanding of the tribes’ and squads’ processes. You will be joining a large cohort of Agile Coaches that are spread across the wider business, so there is the comradery and development opportunities that comes with joining a business heavily invested in their agile transformation.

Your key priorities will involve:

  • Championing and embedding an agile culture, behaviours& mindset
  • Promoting a continuous learning environment
  • Providing agile coaching to Tribe Lead, Chapter Leads, Product Owners and Squad members
  • Coaching squad members on agile methodology
  • Participating in all ceremonies for your squads and supporting/ facilitating process
  • Working on continuous development and improvement of methods and incorporating these into day-to-day work

Qualifications

We are looking for a true change agent - someone whom can inspire squad members, encourage collaboration, and coach at all levels. Equally important is your technical skillset and your emotional intelligence, to truly offer the context and perspective in your day to day activities. Our Agile Coaches role model what underpins agile – so your growth mindset, solution focus, and ability to embody servant leadership innately will be key. Your experience or skillset should also reflect:

  • 2+ years’ experience in agile methodology, processes and ways of working (scrum master background would have a strong leaning)
  • Extensive coaching, mentoring & facilitation
  • Excellent influencing skills and the ability to break down silos by promoting collaborative team approaches
  • Experience in leading cross functional teams
  • Top notch communication and stakeholder management skills
