We are searching for an International Recruitment and Development Manager to work collaboratively across the International Office to develop and implement strategies to achieve the University’s international student recruitment targets.

You will work to build and manage key relationships with agents and partner institutions, identify business opportunities, negotiate and close articulation agreements and other institutional arrangements and maintain extensive knowledge of current market conditions and trends.

Offshore and domestic travel will be required but is currently limited given the challenges of international travel. Some evening and weekend work will be required.

Your role will focus on the development of projects with your team and the Deputy Director International to advance the development of recruitment and business development activities across the University. You will work strategically and proactively across multiple projects with the support of the wider team.

You will be a driving force and project manager working on attracting and securing international students and partners. You will do this within an established team of professionals, working closely with managers and department leads to build on our established offerings and processes whilst seeking out new and exciting ways to meet and exceed our targets.

This role offers you the opportunity to make use of your fantastic recruitment and business development abilities to grow our international student base and develop and run new and innovative projects.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent experience.
  • Postgraduate qualification (preferred).

Essential Experience:

  • Over five years’ experience in the tertiary education sector, marketing and recruitment fields, ability to analyse and

    synthesize data to develop evidence- based strategies.
  • Proven business development and relationship management experience in international education.
  • Experience with international student recruitment.

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience working or studying overseas (preferred).
  • Demonstrated ability to synthesize complex data and communicate with influence on strategic programme development opportunities (Preferred).
  • Functional proficiency in a foreign language spoken in one or more key source markets.

Skills and Knowledge:

  • Experience developing and implementing processes and systems.
  • Knowledge of international education policy environment
