Management Accountant (Financial Team Leader)

We are looking for a highly analytical and detail-oriented Management Accountant to join their Commercial team.  This newly established role will play a pivotal part in delivering high-quality financial reporting, forecasting, and performance insights that drive strategic decision-making.You will contribute to board-level reporting, develop robust activity-based forecasts, and provide in-depth financial analysis to support operational performance and continuous improvement. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive professional who thrives on turning data into meaningful insights and adding real value to the business.Leading a small team responsible for accounts activities, a key aspect of this role is the active participation in the Operational Leadership Group, where you will collaborate across all areas of the business to support operational decision-making.  You will bring a strong commercial perspective, providing clear financial insights that help guide operational decisions while supporting the effective day-to-day performance of the organisation.Key responsibilities include:Deliver board-level financial reporting, including clear analysis of performance, trends, and variancesDevelop and maintain activity-based forecasts, supporting budgeting and forward planningProvide insightful financial analysis, modelling, and pricing support to inform operational decision-makingEnsure the accuracy, integrity, and transparency of financial data and reportingLead and coordinate finance team activities, driving service delivery, performance, and continuous improvementSupport operational excellence through strong financial processes and quality assurance
