Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Undergraduate MarketingStudent to join our Power Tool team on a full time basis for 12 months commencing Oct - Nov 2021 (Some flexibility with working hours will be providedaround exam time).

You will gain invaluable experience and knowledge as an integral part of our Power Tool team. Some of the tasks that you will undertake with us include:

  • Assist the Marketing Manager in executing the NZ Marketing Plan which includes new product launches, promotions, events, retail customer initiatives, market intelligence, developing and management of marketing collateral and administration of marketing activities.
  • Coordinate and effective management of marketing collateral and marketing assets.
  • Assist in the development of New Product launch material and distribution of promotion collateral.
  • Gathering competitor information and maintenance of local market competitive information documents.
  • Coordinate 3rd party logistics to execute promotional and new product activity.

Qualifications

You will be meticulous to detail, have the ability to prioritize tasks to meet tight deadlines, work well with teams and have excellent organizational and communications skills.

To be considered for our Student Program, you should be able to demonstrate an interest and skill in the following

  • Be currently enrolled in an Undergraduate Business degree in Marketing preferably.
  • Experience in retail roles would be beneficial.
  • Ability to adapt to change, highly organised and ability to multitask.
  • Confident in building relationships is desirable.
  • Copywriting skills would be beneficial.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Power Point, MS Excel, MS Word).
  • Have strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must becomfortable working autonomously, is a self starter and motivated to learn new skills.
  • Current and valid New Zealand Driver’s License.
