- Bachelors or Master's degree in technical or business discipline or equivalent experience. Generally, 5+ years of professional experience. Strong oral and written communication skills; presentation skills.• Proficiency in multiple programming languages and tools such as Python/Java/.NET• Cloud-based Web Service (AWS) and RESTful API experience• NoSQL and SQL proficiency• AWS-based Serverless Development experience• Stream technologies (Kinesis, Kafka, DynamoDB stream) a plus• Apache/Websphere based web development experience a plus• SpringBoot experience a plus• UI development experience a plus• In-depth knowledge of data structures and ability to analyze data to solve problems• Proficient in negotiation, facilitation and consensus building skills. Proficient in new and emerging technologies.• Thorough knowledge of layered systems architectures and layered solutions and designs; understanding of shared software concepts.• Ability to operate within an agile team as well as flexibility to be working on multiple projects• Evaluate systems and make recommendations for improvements and solutions while bringing new ideas and improved technology to a legacy system and team• Consultative skills, including the ability to understand and apply customer requirements, including drawing out unforeseen implications and making recommendations for design, the ability to define design reasoning, understanding potential impacts of design requirement.
