Overview: The RiverWoods Group is currently accepting applications for a Marketing Intern to join our team based in Exeter, NH. This is a part time 20 hour a week position.
We are looking for an enthusiastic self-starter to join the RiverWoods Group Marketing team and provide creative ideas to help achieve our goals. You will have strategic and administrative duties in developing and implementing marketing strategies. This intern should be prepared to work in mission-driven team environment and will finish the internship having gained broad experience in various aspects of marketing.As a digital marketing intern, you will support the marketing efforts for ongoing publication of the Seniority Authority podcast. You will be included in meetings with our creative partners at Brown and Company Design. Your insightful contribution will help develop, expand and maintain our marketing channels.This internship will help you acquire marketing skills and provide you with knowledge of various marketing strategies. Ultimately, you will gain broad experience in marketing and should be prepared to enter any fast-paced work environment. Responsibilities:- Managing the publication and distribution of the Seniority Authority podcast episodes.
- Digital content creation for a variety of social media platforms.
- Provide social media and website support for all communities and the Seniority Authority podcast.
- Supporting the marketing teams in select administrative tasks as needed
- Schedule and manage the publication of each podcast episode and push to all major podcasting platforms.
- Work with podcast production team as new episodes are recorded, developing new guest pitches, and maintain a filing system of photography and media that will be used for each episode.
- Develop the promotional social media components for each episode, primarily Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Twitter.
- Create and manage content for our TikTok channel.
- Perform weekly analytics update using data provided by podcast platforms, provide market analysis and research on these activities and our competition.
- Support the marketing team in administrative tasks as time allows and when on campus.
- Assist in marketing and advertising promotional activities (e.g. social media, direct mail and web)
- Strong desire to learn along with professional drive
- Solid understanding of social media marketing platforms and techniques.
- Experience recording and editing TikTok videos, familiarity with trending techniques
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Familiarity with website software (WordPress) and Google Analytics.
- Passion for the marketing industry and its best practices
- Current enrollment in a related bachelor's program as a 3 rd or 4 th year student, or Master's degree
