Do you think and work fast on your feet? Do you enjoy helping others? Do you provide 'service with a smile'? We currently have an exciting dual role covering shifts in both our Customer Service department, and also as part of our Loss Prevention (Security) team!
As a Customer Service team member, as well as assisting our customers with their inquiries, you will process returns, exchanges, refunds and transfers. You will also support Loss Prevention with security assistance and help support and supervise the Checkout area as required.
In the Loss Prevention Officer Role you will have a key focus on preventing shrinkage (theft)by monitoring cameras, following procedures around recovery and promoting a safe environment for both the team and customers.
This is a part time, fixed term position covering maternity leave, working the following shifts:
- Customer Service Fridays and Saturdays 8:00am-4:00pm
- Loss Prevention Officer Sundays and Mondays 10:00am-5:30pm (hours may differ over the Christmas Period due to Extended Trading hours)
Qualifications
Ideally you will have:
- Proven experience in retail, hospitality or a customer facing role - preferable but not essential
- Excellent communication skills
- A positive, can-do attitude
- The ability to undertakeheavy lifting, climbing ladders and being on your feet for long periods of time
- Experience and interest in Loss Prevention
- Able to cope under pressure
- Ability to think on your feet and problem solve
