Assist with the implementation of the organisation's strategic property development plan, including new and existing Residential Aged Care, Retirement Living and Community Services sites.
We are seeking a Development Manager to join Catholic Healthcare’s Property & Housing team on a permanent basis. This role will suit an Assistant Development Manager or Project Manager looking to take the next step in their career in the rewarding aged care industry.
Reporting to the Manager, Development, this role will be responsible for the overall development management of projects including acquisition and due diligence, feasibility preparation, approvals, design, and project management through to pre-construction.
To be considered for this role, we require the successful candidate to have the below skills, experience, and qualifications:
- Tertiary qualifications in a property related discipline - Architecture, Engineering, Property Economics or Construction
- Minimum 5 years Post graduate experience in large scale property development
- Experience in working within an aged care, seniors living or healthcare environment
- Highly developed analytical skills and commercial acumen
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence multiple stakeholders
- Detailed understanding and experience with planning application and approval processes
- Working knowledge of relevant building Codes and Standards
- Excellent research skills and ability to organise, synthesise and present information to support recommendations
