You might be the Systems Engineer that Robert Half Technology is seeking for a job opportunity with a local client! We want to full-time someone who can be a key contributor to the maintenance and optimization of the client's network and server infrastructure for this Systems Engineer position. Apply immediately! Key responsibilities - Establish standards to actively ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability - Test, maintain, install, and configure system management tools, operating systems, and application software - Collaborate with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution - Supervise and track all installed systems and infrastructure - Take part in the design of information and operational support systems - Register and conserve custom scripts to increase system efficiency and lower the human intervention time on any tasks - Track an assay application performance for potential bottlenecks, determine possible solutions, and collaborate with developers to achieve those fixes - Hold up redundancy strategies, backup, and security Requirements - Microsoft Azure experience preferred - Solid understanding of VMware or Hyper-V - Deep understanding of Microsoft Office 365 - Experience with virtualization and containerization is required for success at this position - Experience with automation software is required for success at this position - Solid scripting skills is required for success at this position - This position will be the best fit for a candidate who have solid networking knowledge - Experience with monitoring systems is required for success at this position - Applicants should have proven working experience in installing, configuring and troubleshooting various operating systems - We are particularly looking for candidates with solid experience in the administration and performance tuning of application stacks Robert Half Technology matches IT professionals with remote or on-site jobs on a temporary, project or full-time basis.
