We have an amazing opportunity for a passionate software engineer who is looking to break into the machine learning and autonomous robotics space. We are seeking a geospatial and mapping Guru to help develop ground breaking technology. This software development role will join our growing start up team that is developing a highly innovative autonomous robot. This fully autonomous robot is capable of climbing stairs & curbs, conquering steep hills, soaring through water & sand, all in a relentless effort to deliver precious goods to homes around the globe. We'd love to hear from you if so!Help build out our client's geospatial & mapping database as we grow the product and expand it globallyCreate advanced algorithms and develop infrastructure for the geospatial databasePut your continuous improvement hat on to ensure data is top notch and meets requirementsContribute as a team player on a startup group by participating in sprints and scrum meetingsLearn all there is to know about geospatial databases, identify new tools, and sharpen your development skillsRequired:B.S. in computer science or related degree5+ years of experience in Java development. Geospatial databases preferred.Cloud infrastructure and REST services experience- AWS preferredPassion and interest in mapping, autonomous robotics and machine learningWell versed in object oriented programming. Java and SQL preferred.
