Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIESFlexibility is critical as you may be required to complete day, afternoon and/or night shifts. You will be responsible for, but not limited to:

  • Carry out routine laboratory analysis
  • Calculate and assess analysis results
  • Dispatch samples to other laboratories
  • Undergo laboratory equipment maintenance and calibration
  • Monitor stock levels and complete stock take

Qualifications

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONSThe successful candidates will have:

  • Previous experience in a general mineral laboratory environment
  • Experience in handling acids and chemicals
  • Computer skills - Excel, Access, Lotus Notes and CCLAS
  • Analytical problem solving skills
  • Strong communication skills
