For a financial client we need Senior Database Developer (PL/SQL, ETL, Database tuning). This position is based in New Jersey,NJ or Merrimack, NH, or Durham, NC. We are Primarily looking for W2 Candidates and not looking for Third Party Candidates. The Role You will work in partnership with Squad Leaders and other Chapter Leaders aligned to the Risk Workstation We are seeking a highly technical individual with a proven track record in software development for Fin-tech companies alike. The ideal candidate will be deeply committed to contributing value to our customers in an agile structure. Additionally, the ideal candidate will partner with other Fidelity leaders to develop new solutions for Risk Management and work on Risk Management Business priorities. The Expertise and Skills You Bring

  • Demonstrable experience working with Agile teams and a detailed understanding of Agile SCRUM principles (business analysis, story writing, acceptance testing, end user certification).
  • Deep technical knowledge in front, middle and or back-office operations 5-7+ years working experience with brokerage, broker dealer, Technology & Data focused approach to understanding customer needs, translating strategic objectives into action, and prioritizing o improve the value delivered.
  • 8+ Years of Oracle SQL/PLSQL experience with the ability to code/design sophisticated procedural and SQL logic. SQL tuning knowledge is a must
  • 5+ years of ETL development experience (3+ years of Informatica development preferred)
  • 5+ years of report development experience (3+ years of Business Objects Universe and WEBI reports development preferred)
  • 8+ years of software development experience
  • 2+ years of Shell scripting
  • Experience with scheduling tools like Control-M required
  • Working experience in Agile environment is a must.
  • Innovative mentality to contribute and deliver new insights and solutions.
  • Good interpersonal, communication, problem solving, and data mining skills are required.
  • Financial brokerage Knowledge skills a plus.
  • Responsible for modernizing applications.
  • Responsible for developing applications architecture.
  • Deliver high quality product, with a great cohesive team.
  • Participate in Code reviews for the Scrum team.
  • Be an active member of an Agile team.
