Find your future with us.The Boeing Company has an exciting opportunity available in Boeing Defense & Security (BDS) East Region Supplier Quality Team for a Mid-Level Quality Engineer supporting suppliers in the New Hampshire and Massachusetts geographic areas. Position Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Plans, organizes and conducts audits/assessments of supplier's systems, processes, and products

Documents and reports audit/assessment results

Performs product verification to assess compliance to applicable requirements

Assesses capability and capacity of suppliers to perform current or potential future work

Investigates and resolves concerns to ensure compliance with requirements

Provides education and coaching on quality systems, regulatory compliance issues and company initiatives to develop and improve supplier performance and productivity

Performs data analysis to determine engagement strategy at suppliers

Reports status of supplier performance

Ability to plan, prioritize and manage daily assignments

Participates in Program and Production Readiness Reviews at suppliers

Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal skills

Minimal travel will be required outside of the New Hampshire and Massachusetts areas

This position allows telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options.This position requires an active Secret U.S. Security Clearance. (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.)Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):3+ years working in Quality or Supplier Quality including experience with EN/AS9100 Quality Management System, Root Cause Corrective Action, AS9102 First Article Inspection, Manufacturing Planning, and Purchase Contract Review

3+ years’ experience performing data analysis using excel

3+ years’ experience reading blueprints, using GD&T, and hands-on inspection of product

3+ years experience working with J-STD-001 and IPC-610 standards

Experience with Microsoft Office Products: Word, Excel and Power Point

Must possess a valid Driver's License and own a vehicle

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):1+ year of experience using Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) Tools

3+ years’ experience in the Aerospace Industry

6+ years MRB experience

6+ years Supplier Quality or related experience

Typical Education/Experience:Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience. ABET accreditation is the preferred standard.Relocation:Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position.
