Job Description

The community is hiring a Creative Duo (Art Director/Copywriter) for our Social Accelerator team. What is a Social Accelerator team you ask? The team that brought you the Best Ad Stunt of 2020, Oreo Vault. This is also the team that launched Funky Buddha Hard Seltzer to the market with a Super Bowl spot joined with an AR/Snap Lense. The team will start remotely and eventually be located in our NY, NY or Miami office.

The Creative Duo for the Social Accelerator team will be challenged to concept and create social first creative ideas. Working closely with our Global Creative Leads, this creative team will be partnered with Social Strategy, Innovation, and Producers who are challenged to push and drive social first campaigns as well as special project initiatives for Global brands. This work could include digital experiential, special social art/graphical, influencer/celebrity campaigns, and anything your mind can create that a client will want for their brand. The creative that will succeed in this role lives and breathes social media, are fully in tune to trends of TikTok, have a drive to invent, and want to be a part of the next viral trend for a major brand.

Responsibilities:

  • Create succinct concepts for projects with social first thinking or dedicated social campaign ideas.

  • Drive the creative expansion of social first concepts to be rolled out into full creative campaigns.

  • Join forces with the 360 creative teams to present award winning work.

  • Propose new project ideas for existing clients.

  • Collaborate with the creative team on new business pitches to develop and shape brands and their messaging.

  • Interact with project teams to ensure tone, style and structure support the concept.

  • Work with the Creative & Social Strategy team to understand the most successful creative direction for the target audience.

  • Advise on the best social channel approach for each project.

  • Actively contribute to strategic brainstorming social campaign development, creative brief development and execution.

  • Manage the roll out of campaigns.

Qualifications

  • 2+ of experience in an ad agency in a copywriting or art direction role.

  • Fluency in English with written and oral communication.

  • Significant experience working on social focused campaigns

  • Expert knowledge of social channels, tools, and trends.

  • In tune with social norms, social innovation, social mentality.

  • Ability to concept long form and short form content.

  • Outstanding creativity and ability and strong concept skills.

  • Ability to concept content in a wide variety of styles.

  • Ability to communicate effectively with team members and clients.

  • Bachelor’s in advertising or communications or foreign equivalent is a plus.

  • Experience working in an Art Director/Copywriter partnership.

  • Understanding of concepting content targeting multicultural audiences.

  • Spanish language skills a plus.
