Your versatility and the care you devote to food preparation as Chef Tournant will support your team in creating truly spectacular fare.Compensation: $32.03 - $42.70 per HourSummary of Responsibilities: Reporting to the Sous Chefs, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:              Consistently offer professional, friendly and proactive guest service while supporting fellow ColleaguesRelieve cooks and help in various areas of the Kitchen as requiredUse a broad knowledge of cooking techniques and food styles to ensure consistencyAssist and service all food items for a la carte and/or buffet menus according to hotel recipes and standardsActively share ideas, opinions and suggestions in daily shift briefingsMaintain proper rotation of product in all chillers to minimize wastage/spoilageEnsure storeroom requisitions are accurateHave full knowledge of all menu items, daily features and promotionsEnsure the cleanliness and maintenance of all work areas, utensils, and equipmentFollow kitchen policies, procedures and service standardsFollow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverageOther duties as assigned
