Job Summary:
The VP of Operations is responsible for providing leadership and coordination of company sales and marketing functions. Develop and implement sales and marketing strategy. Monitor and analyze sales and marketing activity against goals to attract new customers/partners and retain existing customers/partners.
He or She will market products by developing and implementing marketing and sales campaigns, tracking sales data and planning meetings.
The VP of Operations is in charge of the Marketing and Sales/Key Accounts department and therefore is responsible for employees within the department.
He or She will assign duties and set targets for departmental staff, it is also the function of the VP of Operations to perform periodic performance evaluations of the staff.
Education, Experience, Skills and Abilities Required for Consideration as a Candidate:
1. Bachelor's Degree Required (Master's/ MBA Preferred)
2. Three + years' experience in Marketing and Sales
3. 5+ years' experience in a Leadership Role
4. Strong verbal, written, analytical, presentation and interpersonal skills
5. Ability to organize, manage and control workflow; ability to meet deadlines.
6. Creative and forward thinking
7. Motivated and self-starter
8. Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
9. Experience in strategic planning and execution. Knowledge of contracting, negotiating, and change management. Knowledge of structuring sales quota goals and revenue expectations. Experience in planning marketing strategies, advertising campaigns, and successful public relations efforts.
