-Lifeguards at Winadu are part of a team of staff members who work at our Pool and/or Lake. The main responsibility of Swim and Lake Lifeguards /Counselors will be to coordinate with our Director of Lake and our Director of Pool and to maintain a fun and safe environment at both locations.
-Camp Winadu will pay for all Lifeguards or interested candidates to become Red Cross Certified (if necessary) during staff training at camp.
-All counselors at Winadu are General Counselors who are the heartbeat of camp fully immersed with kids and participating and mentoring in all the activities Winadu has to offer;
-All in the same day, a General Counselor can be coaching flag football, spending time at the lake and participating in a campfire;
-General Counselors at Winadu make activities fun and encourage campers to participate and as students you can focus and develop skills needed for future careers;
-The ideal candidate will be high energy, fun and excited to work with kids plus have a solid work ethic;
-This is an ideal opportunity for students as it allows you to work with kids, in sports while having fun and gaining hands on practical experience towards your degree and career.
