Our Executive Housekeeper is a highly visible member of the hotel management team at Homewood Suites Portsmouth

You will be in charge of overseeing the cleaning activities at the hotel. Working with other department heads to execute complete guest satisfaction, and you will guide your team in performing a variety of activities to ensure an attractive environment within guest rooms and public spaces while maintaining the highest standards for cleanliness, safety and sanitation throughout the hotel.

You must have flexible scheduling availability to include mornings, evenings, weekends and/or holidays.

Job Requirements:

Oversee housekeeping and laundry operations

Prepare weekly schedules for your team

Monitor the standards and performance of the Housekeeping/Laundry Team with an emphasis on training and teamwork

Ensure team members have an up-to-date knowledge on all brand standards

Maintain on-going communication with hotel department heads

Inspect, regularly, all fixtures, fittings, and appliances to ensure compliance to standards and take action as necessary to conform to standard

Ability to resolve conflicts

Ability to multi task in a fast-paced environment

Flexible schedule to meet business demands

A passion for delivering exceptional levels of guest service

Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position.
