Brookside Market is a small store and deli serving subs, pizzas, salads, and prepared foods. We have a fun crew & fast paced environment with flexible hours and NO LATE NIGHTS!
This is a hands-on kitchen position, and you will be active in all areas of food preparation and service. You must be quick & accurate, as we get VERY busy.
Our Assistant Managers have the overall responsibility for directing the daily operations of our store in the Manager's absence, ensuring that the highest quality food and service is delivered to each customer at all times. The Assistant Manager maintains compliance with company standards in all areas of operation including food preparation and delivery, staff supervision, customer relations, inventory/ordering, and other duties as required or assigned.
You should have superior customer service skills, and be a hardworking, self-motivated person with a strong attention to detail. As abilities increase so does pay.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate for the Assistant Manager position will posses:
Strong kitchen/restaurant experience (supervisory experience preferred)
Dedication to providing exceptional customer service
Good communication skills, and strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
Exceptional team building capability
Basic business math skills, and strong analytical/decision-making skills
Candidates must be 18 years or older with a valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
