Cooper's Hill Public House is currently hiring for back of house/kitchen staff, including line cooks and dishwashers, as well as a busser.
Cooper's Hill is an Irish-inspired pub in downtown Peterborough, NH, a quick, half hour drive from Milford and Keene. We are a fun bunch in a friendly environment, and we are looking for a hard-working and detail-oriented candidate to join our team.
The Line Cook is tasked with preparing and executing our core menu to Cooper's Hill Public House specifications. Our full menu can be found online at coopershillpublichouse.com/food. We are a scratch kitchen with fresh, clean ingredients, organic and local when possible. This role is responsible for stocking and preparing food for service, maintaining a clean and sanitary work space, and opening and closing the kitchen according to our standard operating procedures. One year of experience preferred.
The Dishwasher is responsible for operating an industrial dishwasher and washing items by hand when necessary, as well as helping to maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen. During service, dishwashers will prepare salads and desserts, and provide assistance to the other kitchen staff as needed. Dishwashers perform opening and closing side work including closing down and cleaning the dish line. No experience necessary - we are willing to train the right candidate. This role has opportunities for growth into a prep cook or line cook role.
Must have night and weekend availability.
The Busser will work Friday and Saturday nights and Sunday afternoons. This role is responsible for helping to clean tables, collecting dishes and glassware to be washed, wiping down surfaces, and resetting tables for the next service. The Busser may also help the servers with running food, polishing silverware, filling waters, and other side work duties.
