Community Legal Services is a 501 c 3 non-profit entity that is just revving up again after being dormant. We envision a clinic in every county in New Hampshire , and had four set up prior to our winding down - one in Rochester, one in Keene, one in North Conway, one in Union, and one scheduled for Berlin. Our new business director has changed our focus from non-rent locations (shared space) to a headquarters in Sanbornville where we are renting a small space. Our major fund-raising is via bingo games at an established bingo hall. We are looking for a retired attorney or a young attorney who doesn't have a huge loan debt to jump in with us and build the organization. We can pay a pittance - 50.00 per client session and $200.00 per 1/2 day in court, but if you pitch in with the non-legal stuff the organization can grow and pay more. We also offer minimum wage internships to any interested law students, and will do a Rule 36 court appearances & client contacts for 3L students. What we don't want is someone popping in here and then leaving when they land a better job. Still reading - give us a holler.
