ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Assist in unloading food and other items from Food Rescue truck and donor vehicles.

Assure that donation slips are completed by donors, sign, and return to Development.

Utilize set procedures to properly organize and distribute all items received.

Store received items in appropriate areas.

Coordinate daily tasks with manager.

Assist Pantry staff as needed.

Assist Kitchen staff as needed.

Ensure the loading dock and parking lot stays clean and orderly.

Manage the recycling bins throughout the facility.

Assist Kitchen staff as needed.

OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Perform other related duties as required.

Understand, believe, and advocate for the mission of the NSKS.

Maintain strict standards of client confidentiality.

Adhere to agency policies, procedures, and a professional code of ethics.

Assist in fostering good public relations of the agency.

Participate in regular staff meetings, staff training programs, supervisory sessions, and accept the responsibility for aiding in the development of positive team relationships.

Participate in formalized training that would increase skills.

Must maintain up-to-date contact information.
