Southern NH Industrial Park is family owned and has been in business for over 40 years.
We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Accounting Manager to join our team. As an Accounting Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing our company's financial records and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. You will also oversee the administrative tasks necessary for the smooth operation of our business.
Responsibilities:
-Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using QuickBooks.
-Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
-Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions.
-Prepare and file quarterly tax returns and other regulatory reports.
-Handle administrative tasks related to property management using Buildium software.
-Prepare and file quarterly reports for regulatory compliance.
-Facilitate the acquisition and maintenance of overweight permits and IRP registrations.
-Process and file 2290 forms for heavy highway vehicle use tax.
-Assist in completing and filing MSC150 forms as required.
Requirements:
-Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
-Proven experience as an accountant or similar role.
-Proficiency in QuickBooks and other accounting software.
-Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
-Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
-Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
-Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
-Familiarity with regulatory requirements in the trucking industry is a plus.
-Experience in the transportation or logistics industry is a plus.
-Proficiency in filing court cases and managing related legal documentation preferred
