Under the supervision of the firms Director of Information Governance, the Administrative File Assistant (File Assistant) supports all Central Filing operations, including file retrievals, scanning, circulation tracking, creation and maintenance of electronic and hardcopy folders and filing updates. In addition, it is anticipated that this position will provide support for the maintenance of the firms original estate planning instruments, corporate record books, as received from legal professionals within the firm. Day-to-day tasks include inter-filing, creation of new vault pouches, books, creating duplicates for clients, redacting personal information, scanning, circulation tracking and related areas. The File Assistant also performs data entry and maintenance within the relevant practice and records systems.

Must be able to lift 40 lbs and perform repetitive motion tasks routinely, e.g., moving boxes of files, operating binding and hole punch machinery.

Strong attention to detail required, professional demeanor and attitude, customer service orientation, subject matter interest and a ready willingness to own and accept responsibilities are required.
